What We Believe

Our faith in God and trust in His Word is the core of why we do what we do.

Point of Grace #3: We believe that developing an intelligent faith and intimate friendship with Jesus will create lifelong fulfillment.

Truth hasn’t changed since the earth was created, so we haven’t created our own statement of faith. We’ve adopted one that’s been around for a while:

The Apostles’ Creed

“We believe in God the Father Almighty, the Maker of heaven and earth, And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. We believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy universal church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.”

“Every student will grapple with their faith during their high school years as they decide what they truly believe. We’re here to walk with them during this critical time. The world is complicated. Students need to see how their faith intersects with life.” -Bob Gresh, Grace Prep founder

In addition to weekly chapels and Bible classes, we commit time during the school day for our student/teacher discipleship groups. We call them D-Groups.

Along with academics, Grace Prep students learn the relevance of biblical truths, the purpose of evangelism, and practical ways to live out their faith. Integrated worldview development and apologetics is weaved into every class they take, equipping them to intelligently share their faith. Students can learn to confidently and compassionately discuss topics like evolution, creation, world religions, political philosophies, and current events. You’ll quickly see our passion for facilitating true discipleship and freedom, rather than just teaching students how to do the “right things”.
