SCIENCE TEACHER

(FULL or POTENTIALLY PART-TIME)

Responsibilities:

• Depending on expertise, teach high school science courses, such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Anatomy and Physiology, and/or Environmental Science.

• Develop and implement engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligning with biblical principles and academic standards.

• Foster a classroom environment encouraging critical thinking, curiosity, and a love for science.

• Integrate faith into instruction, helping students develop a biblical worldview in science.

• Assess student learning through assignments, projects, and class discussions, providing timely and constructive feedback.

• Collaborate with peers and parents to support student success.

• Participate in school activities and events as part of the Grace Prep community.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field 

• Teaching experience at the high school level is preferred.

• A strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to Christian education.

• Ability to integrate biblical truth into science instruction.

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

• Teaching certification is preferred but not required.
