He, along with his wife, Dannah, founded Pure Freedom which has offered faith-based abstinence resources and events for over half a million American teenagers around the world. They speak internationally at youth retreats, Christian schools, and conferences and were the keynote speakers at the World Hope Conference in Lusaka, Zambia, in November of 2005.

Nearly ten years ago, the Lord prompted Bob to switch his focus from the business field to begin to take care of God’s business. This prompting led him to the field of Christian education. In the Spring of 2004, Bob woke up in the middle of the night and penned the 40 Points of Grace which define the vision and personality of Grace Prep. Bob’s passion is to create a model that brings creativity, innovation, and academic excellence together with the resources necessary to prepare godly students to be world-changers. In eight years, Grace Prep has done just that.

Dannah Gresh is the author of multiple bestselling titles — including And the Bride Wore White. She’s a great encouragement to moms and women of all ages, having written Six Ways To Keep the Little In Your Girl and Six Ways To Keep The Good In Your Boy.

She has long been at the forefront of the movement to encourage both tweens and teens to pursue purity and is often called upon to defend the conservative position of abstinence in national news media like USA TODAY, TIME, CNN.com, FoxNews.com, Chicago Tribune and Women’s Wear Daily. In July, 2014, they returned from their year of short term missions and the Lord opened doors for Meagan to become the new Spanish teacher at Grace Prep. Beth Campbell | bethcampbell@graceprep.com

• Math

My name is Beth Campbell and except for two years when my husband was in the military, I’ve lived in Altoona my whole life. I have a mathematics degree from Penn State and while I have spent many years teaching math, I’ve focused the last four on coaching softball. I spent two years as a Saint Francis assistant and am currently the head coach at Altoona. We attend First Church of Christ in Altoona where I have been able to participate in some mission trips. Jim and I have four daughter’s and four grandchildren who we love to spend time with. In December it will be 10 years since I was diagnosed with breast cancer and through that ordeal I found my favorite passage in The Bible which is Psalm 27.
Psalm 27:1a:”The Lord is my light and my salvation–whom shall I fear?”

Leah Coll| leahcoll@graceprep.com

• Latin

Leah brings 15+ years of teaching experience, including home schooling, teaching Latin at an online academy, and several years at Grace Prep.

Leah graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, spending the first ten years of her working life as a critical care RN.  When her first child had not learned to read by the end of public school first grade, she went to a local teacher’s store looking for a phonics program; little knowing it would launch a different educational journey for the family, with her role shifting from nurse to teacher.

As a side benefit of teaching her own children Latin, she became convinced that “all students should study this.”  Self-study and several PSU courses have prepared her to teach at the High School level.

Transplants from Ohio where her husband attended OSU medical school and remains a loyal  Buckeye, the family now splits loyalty between two camps. When not making lesson plans for school, she prepares for the Children’s ministry at her church, where she gets to spend time with some of her favorite people-children. She loves to read and discuss the Scripture,  garden, run, encourage a neighbor with some homemade chili, share a good cup of coffee with her husband, and nap.

Aleigha Gresh| aleighagresh@graceprep.com

• Western Literature • World Literature • First Year Seminar

Aleigha is a member of the very first graduating class of Grace Prep High School and has returned to pour into the same scholastic family that developed her both spiritually and academically in her youth. She developed her love for language and literature as she earned her two degrees in English and Classics & Ancient Mediterranean Studies at Penn State University and has spent over ten years in youth ministry and six years studying and presenting a biblical view of sexual integrity.

She is a savorer of cozy autumn evenings with a steamy mug of tea and a good book and also revels in summertime memories of digging in the family veggie garden. She adores a good adventure, whether she is excavating ancient artifacts in Israel, backpacking through the mountain peaks of Alaska, or rushing through the frigid air of her first skydiving jump. She holds a stubborn belief in the power of a fresh start and has found that both poetry and prose hold the ability to walk us through some of the deepest lingering questions of humanity.
